Shipping costs
Standard shipping is $9.99 for all orders within Canada. For orders outside of Canada, the rate is automatically calculated via Canada Post. All orders are shipped within 1-5 business days from the date of purchase. *Please note that there may be a longer delivery time during peak sales periods such as Boxing Day and Christmas*
Returns & Exchanges
Being 100% handmade, there may be slight variations in appearance, colors and scents in the candles.
The return policy is 10 days upon receipt of your package. To be eligible, your candle must be in the same condition as when received, unused and must be in its original packaging. The shipping costs associated with your return are the responsibility of the customer. For any requests or questions regarding your order, please write to shopokbye@gmail.com.
There are no refunds possible for a change of mind or for a used product.
As mentioned on their product sheets, there are no refunds or exchanges for clothing.
What happens if my package is returned to you?
In the event that the carrier is unable to complete a delivery (wrong address, package not collected, address not found, etc.), the package will be returned to us after a period of 5 days. Upon its return to the workshop, we will contact you to re-ship the package (the applicable delivery costs will be charged to you) or we will offer you a refund less the return costs ($9.99).
Why does my candle look different after I light it?
This sometimes strange look of the post-burn wax is completely normal and does not affect the performance or scent of your candle. It is a classic result of using natural soy wax without preservatives or toxins! :)
What materials do you use for candles?
Our candles are made of high-quality soy and coconut wax and contain fragrances without phthalates or parabens. They are handmade in Quebec by an exceptional (but anything but modest) woman. The wicks are lead-free.
What are you doing for the environment?
In addition to using cruelty-free and toxin-free products and natural wax, most products are designed as locally as possible to reduce GHGs related to imports. Also, almost all shipping materials are either recyclable, recycled or compostable. For example, shipping peanuts are in a compostable material, which dissolves even under water (if they are not, it is because they are recycled peanuts )!
